yes. i admit it. i’m prone to wonder into B&N from time to tim with absolutely no intention of purchasing anything. not even some tea. i walk in with my bottle of water [purchased elsewhere], find a book i’ve been dying to read, then find the perfect spot:
- out of the way [preferably a corner]
- good back support
- limited foot traffic
- space to stretch feet out w/o blocking aisle/shelf/bn patrons
once settled in above mentioned location the reading ensues. i’m liable to spend the next 2-3hrs not moving except for a turn of the page or occasionally body shift [have to avoid bed sores i suppose]. shameful admission: i’ve read an entire book in store once, returned it to it’s place on the shelf, and skedaddled.

I have a friend who lives overseas. He’s sick and talk speak much at to moment so I decided to read to him. We pick up at page 16 today.
